Iremex Privacy Policy 1.01
1. Information We Collect
Information Provided DirectlyOrder and transaction data includes name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone number, and payment processing details collected during purchase and warranty registration. Customer support communications include inquiries, diagnostics, and troubleshooting details submitted via support tickets, live chat, or email. Account credentials include username and password details if an iRemex customer account is created.
Hardware & Companion App DiagnosticsWhen pairing with the optional Liter app or initiating firmware updates, limited technical data is processed, including current firmware version, module status, and hardware identifiers necessary to negotiate and complete updates. The Liter cable functions solely as a physical conduit for power negotiation, display readings, high-speed data transfers, and recovery modes (such as DFU / Purple Mode on supported devices). iRemex does not read, store, or inspect personal files, photos, or data streams passing through the cable between host and connected devices.
Automated Web & Usage DataStandard web analytics are collected, including IP address, browser type, referral URLs, device operating system, and cookie data to optimize website performance and store navigation preferences.
2. How Information Is Used
Information is used for fulfillment and logistics, such as processing orders, fulfilling worldwide shipping, managing tracking, and issuing replacement units under warranty. It is also used for device maintenance and firmware delivery to provide software and firmware updates to display modules and charging chips. Additionally, information assists with customer care by diagnosing hardware issues, resolving wattage readout freezing, and assisting with technical support requests. Finally, data is utilized for platform security and fraud prevention to safeguard checkout transactions with payment encryption and prevent unauthorized activity.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
iRemex does not sell personal user data. Data is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis with trusted service providers. Payment processors handle encrypted credit card transactions and secure checkout flows. Fulfillment and logistics partners assist in delivering hardware orders globally. Hosting and diagnostic infrastructure providers facilitate optional app synchronization, support chat systems, and firmware binary distribution. Data may also be shared for legal compliance when required by an applicable subpoena, law, or regulatory request.
4. Data Security & Retention
Industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) is applied to all website sessions and transactional communications. Transaction records are retained to honor the hardware warranty term and satisfy accounting regulations. Optional companion app data can be deleted upon request or account termination.
5. User Rights & Contact
Depending on jurisdiction (such as GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), users have the right to access, update, or export personal data held by iRemex, request the deletion of customer accounts and associated data, and opt out of optional marketing newsletters.
For privacy requests, inquiries, or data deletion, contact support by emailing support@iremex.com or through the iRemex Support & Documentation Center.
